Advice Feminists Dealing with Alopecia, Lift Your Pride and Keep Your Hair with Passion

Barely anyone might suggest it, since my face compliments my wigs quite subtly, but it is a fact I wear wigs to regain my appearance. My name is Christina Newton, here we go again at the Born Beautiful Blog. Would you guess that my pool boy didn’t recognize me the first time he’d seen me since I started wearing wigs. That’s the value of lace wigs. These make my hair so effortlessly beautiful. They permit me to realize what I call the “feminity ceiling.”

You see, ten years ago during my divorce, I came down with health issues which as a symptom afflicted me with women’s synthetic wigs. The alopecia struck me flat footed. But, with more important things on the brain (other than hair-hah), the unfortunate circumstances of my appearance were the final of my many concerns. But look, I had young babies to feed in addition to dynamic fashion consultancy at my beck and call. It hadn’t yet occurred to me that given the wellness and career considerations at stake, wigs could solve my insignificant problems.

I drank a latte and jumped into action and had an appointment with my general practitioner about solutions for my women’s hair loss. I went in considering hair transplants, quite frankly. When my doctor confirmed that well-made human hair wigs were a great choice, even then I stayed wary! These days I’m a fervent adherent to the power of wigs, and offer advice to women with hair loss. The key they might sleep on, is this: after a while, even those you love won’t notice you’re sporting a wig.
